Great small and, above all, worth seeing castle from the Staufer period

A historically interesting castle with defensive walls. In addition to the museum, you can take beautiful walks from here, e.g. on the Hohenstaufen which is a good 5km away. Just follow the well-signposted Staufer circuit from the nearby hiking car park.

Very nice little castle. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Below the castle is a nice restaurant with delicious food. 15 minutes on foot.

Small Staufer castle with a massive walled forecourt where events take place from time to time. The castle itself can be visited at the weekend (admission). Informative exhibition in the historical rooms. Small lounge on the ground floor with vending machine and toilets.

An interesting castle with lots of information. Admission prices are ok and the staff are friendly and helpful. The place is good to get around an hour.

Silent place, informs about the Staufer. The old castle is well maintained and we received a profound tour. Manageable property, not too crowded.

Beautiful, interesting ruin in the Stauferland area. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and walking. We have already had a picnic on one of the many meadows. Nice view. A good place to go for cyclists in summer, there is also something to drink.
